The purpose of this site is to be able to keep you informed of our ministry at Rift Valley Academy and improve communications with pictures and postings.

Rift Valley Academy is a Christian boarding school located in central Kenya. The academy, a branch of Africa Inland Mission International, exists to provide a quality education in a nurturing environment for the children of missionaries serving in Africa. With over 100 years of rich history, RVA has played an instrumental role in the lives of countless MKs (missionary kids). The current student body of about 450 includes more than 20 different nationalities. The families these students represent serve with 80 mission organizations in over 20 African countries.Rift Valley Academy was established in 1906 to provide the educational needs of children whose parents were serving as missionaries throughout the African continent.  Alan and Sara and their Three children Emily (RVA ‘02) Laura (RVA ‘03) and Brian (RVA ‘08) began serving at RVA in 1997 and God has richly blessed them throughout their time at RVA.  Please use this website to learn more about the Bouchards and their ministry to MK’s at Rift Valley Academy.
